- The film’s total running time should be between 1 and 60 minutes
- Non-English language films must have English subtitles
- The ATVF competition accepts any genre
- Film may be shot on any format
- Film must be submitted on DVD for previewing
- NTSC only (No PAL or SECAM)
- Preview DVDs will not be returned
- ATVF 2009 reserves the right to show short clips of the films to promote the festival (Internet / TV / Mobile and all other media platforms)
- ATVF 2009 reserves the right to use still images from the films to promote the festival (Internet / TV / Mobile and all other media platforms)
- Announcement of accepted films will be posted on the ATVF website
ATVF is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.
- The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
- The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless ATVF from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, publishing, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
- I understand that ATVF will not use the material or any part of, except in connection with the Festival unless (1) I enter into an agreement with ATVF granting rights to the material, or (2) it is determined in good faith that I do not own or control the material because features or elements were independently developed by someone other than me; are in the public domain or; are not novel or new.
- I have retained at least two copies of said material, and I hereby release ATVF of and from any and all liability for loss of, or damage to, the copy of said material submitted to ATVF hereunder.
- If more than one party signs this agreement as submitter, then reference to "I" or "me" throughout this agreement shall apply to each party; jointly and severally.
- I understand failure to adhere to ATVF submission rules will result in disqualification.
- The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening and competition, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
- I have read all of the ATVF rules and regulations. I understand and have complied with these rules. To the best of my knowledge, all of the statements herein are true and correct.

- All films maximum running time is 60 minutes, minimum 1:00 minute
- Films must not have any prior broadcasts: (Internet / TV / Mobile or any other media platforms)
- Non-English language films must have English subtitles
- Preview (two copies on DVD)
- Film Overview/Synopsis (50-75 words)
- Basic Press Kit on CD (optional)

For DVD submissions, ATVF requires standard commercial DVD cases for all submissions. Please include the film title (in English) and the running time on DVD package. If you submit a work in progress, indicate the elements that are incomplete on the DVD package.
Any filmmaker may submit more than one film. However, each film must be contained in an individual DVD case and accompanied with its own submission form and entry fee.
You are responsible for all shipping cost. It would be wise to ship all DVDs in a bubble packed envelope. ATVF is not responsible for material damaged during shipping.
Deliveries must be sent Registered Air Mail or by a parcel express service. ATVF will not accept entries shipped via air freight if applicable delivery fees have not been paid. No C.O.D.
Please enclose a self-addressed postcard with the appropriate postage with your entry.
